Teaching modules are the most important learning tools because they contain learning plans that
will be implemented by the teacher so that learning is more focused. This research aims to
determine students' abilities in compiling teaching modules based on the Merdeka curriculum.
The type of research used is descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The instrument
used is an instrument in the form of a test. In the teaching module there are main components that
must be implemented. Of these three main components, it was found that students did not
understand the knowledge about enrichment components and worksheets. The three main
components used as benchmarks are general information components, core components, and
attachments. There is 1 student who has mastered the teaching module. 3 students who are very
good at making teaching modules, 2 students who are good at mastering making teaching
modules. When preparing teaching modules, students on average have included 3 components in
their modules, although there are still some students who experience several obstacles in
preparing them.
