About the Journal

Ath-Thufail: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Study Program of Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD), Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Tarbiyah (STIT) Muhammadiyah Bojonegoro, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to disseminating high-quality research, review articles, conceptual papers, and best practices in the field of Islamic Early Childhood Education (PIAUD). The journal is published twice a year, in March and September.

Ath-Thufail serves as an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, teachers, practitioners, policymakers, and postgraduate students to exchange scientific knowledge and promote innovation in early childhood education from Islamic and interdisciplinary perspectives. The journal encourages the publication of scholarly works that contribute to improving educational quality, child development, and evidence-based educational practices.

The journal covers a broad range of topics related to Islamic Early Childhood Education, including child development, curriculum innovation, learning strategies, educational media, parenting, child psychology, character and moral education, educational management, inclusive education, educational technology, digital literacy, Islamic values, and other contemporary issues relevant to early childhood education.

Every manuscript submitted to Ath-Thufail undergoes an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer-review process conducted by at least two independent reviewers. The editorial process ensures that all published articles meet high standards of originality, scientific quality, methodological rigor, and publication ethics. Manuscripts are also screened using plagiarism detection software before entering the peer-review process.

Ath-Thufail adopts an Open Access publishing policy, providing immediate and unrestricted access to all published articles. Readers are free to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, cite, and link to the full texts of articles without financial, legal, or technical barriers, provided appropriate acknowledgment is given to the original authors and the journal. This policy supports the wider dissemination of scientific knowledge and enhances the visibility and impact of research in Islamic Early Childhood Education.

The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, transparency, and ethical publishing practices in accordance with internationally recognized principles of scholarly publishing.
